What we do

Season 3 of Taskmaster Australia saw comedians, Peter Helliar, Mel Buttle, Aaron Chen, Concetta Caristo and Rhys Nicholson, ready to risk their reputations on Australian TV’s most outrageous, laugh-out-loud comedy show. Adapted from the hit UK format of the same name, Taskmaster rewards innovation, berates stupidity and promises countless laughs. The Australian adaptation of the Taskmaster format was commissioned by Paramount and produced by Avalon Television in partnership with Kevin & Co.

What we used

EMG / Gravity Media Australia welcomed the team from Kevin & Co to the Production Centre in Melbourne for the studio audience records of this fan favourite comedy powerhouse which unleashed a new bunch of comedians for another hilarious season. Control Room 5.1 connected to a 10-camera layout featuring Pedestal cameras, PTZ cameras and a Jib camera for Season 3 of the program broadcast on Network 10.

Outcome

The EMG / Gravity Media team worked with Kevin & Co on a total of 10 episodes. Tom Gleeson once again stared as the Taskmaster, with his trusty sidekick Tom Cashman as his devoted assistant. In each episode the two Toms set the comedians a range of ridiculous tasks designed to puzzle brains. At series’ end, the comedian with the most points was crowned Taskmaster champion.
