Scott is Gravity Media’s Managing Director for Australia. He joined us in 2019 as part of Gravity’s acquisition of Chief Entertainment.
As our Aussie MD, Scott oversees the strategic leadership and operational management of Gravity Media’s Australian business. He manages its day-to-day operations, exercises financial oversight and builds key relationships with stakeholders.
Scott holds an MBA (Technology) from the University of NSW AGSM Business School. Previous roles saw him work as an audio engineer and sound designer in commercial video production, radio broadcasting and live music production. He’s worked at many radio stations including a several-year spell producing for legendary Australian broadcaster, Doug Mulray. Scott was also part of the team that established Australia’s first internet-only 24/7 streaming music TV channel, The Basement, in the late 1990s.
As Chief Entertainment’s Chief Operating Officer, Scott was responsible for day-to-day business operations and strategic planning. Once part of Gravity Media, he became Director of Business Administration and Commercial, where he was responsible for financial overview, overseeing all internal and commercial business processes (and analysis) plus, providing leadership to our finance team.
Scott’s extensive experience means he’s a highly versatile executive with commercial business management, operations and production skillsets in media, technology and creative industries.
