CAMCAT Standard

Advanced and highly versatile point to point wirecam systems supplied in partnership with CAMCAT Systems.

CAMCAT® Standard is an advanced fully remote-controlled cable camera system designed to run between two fixed points up to 1000m apart at any conceivable angle and at speeds of up to 70km/hour.

The CAMCAT® Standard camera buggy runs on two independent guide ropes made of heavy-duty synthetic material and can accept a range of payloads including the latest stabilized GSS or Shotover gimbals and RF equipment for HD / UHD live broadcast applications as well as open mounts such as Libra, G1, Scorpio, Stab-C Compact, Mini-C and Flight Head systems for commercial, drama or film production requirements.

The computerised remote-controlled system enables precision movement over the entire length of setup as well as allowing the operating CAMCAT® technician to pilot the system either manually or in a pre-programmed automatic control mode with maximum stability and smoothness. As the CAMCAT® Standard is based on a modular construction it can be adapted to a wide range of shooting situations subject to production requirements.

The system complies with the highest of safety standards and is certified by the German Health & Safety Group (TUV), one of the most stringent industrial safety authorities in the world. This certifcation allows for:
– operation over audiences, athletes and artists.
– operation in harsh and exposed environments
– operation on or in historic monuments or buildings.
